Attraction
Toucans are found living in the rainforests in Southern Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Their colorful bills can be up to one-third of the size of the birds.

This Toucan lives at the non-profit Berkshire Bird Paradise in Petersburgh, which was founded by Peter Dubacher (also pictured here) in 1975. His daughter, Elizabeth, is overseeing major renovations this year to improve bird habitat and conserve energy. The bird sanctuary is closed for the winter.
