Friday, April 12. Played at Greenwich High School. Winning Panther pitcher Even Webster (2-0) gave up a hit to each of the first two batters, then settled down and only gave up a swinging bunt single for the remainder of the game. Webster pitched a 73 pitch complete game. Cody Hodges had a single, double and batted in three RBIs. Jake Sparks had two singles along with two RBIs and Max Kipp had two singles and an RBI. Hoosick Falls moves to O 2-1, L 2-1.

Thursday, April 11. Played at American Legion Field in Stillwater. Hoosick Falls jumped on Stillwater (0-3, 0-3) in the first three innings and built a 9-1 lead by the top of the fifth, then cruised from there to a win. Jake Sparks, Sam Wickenden and Max Kipp each had a double for the Panthers. Winning pitcher Cody Hodges (1-1) had two singles and four RBIs,

Wednesday, April 10. Moved to Tamarac due to poor field conditions at HFCS. The Hoosick Falls Panthers roared out of the gate and put the Bengals in a position to surrender after five innings due to the 10 run rule. Eighth grader Jake Sparks led the way with a grand slam home run, his first as a varsity player, and two singles. Sparks drove in five of the team’s runs. Cody Hodges and Isaac Humphrey each had a two run double. Evan Webster (1-0) got the win on the mound. Jake Danaher had a triple and scored two runs for the Bengals.
