A collision involving three vehicles Monday evening, April 15, sent three people to the Albany Medical Center, one by a Med Flight helicopter. The fourth patient was transported to Troy’s Samaritan Hospital.
According to the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department, a box truck rear-ended a car, forcing it into the oncoming lane, striking the third vehicle head on. One victim was reported trapped and unconscious when Center Brunswick Fire Department Officers arrived on the scene.

That was the individual flown to Albany Med. The Sheriff’s Department says however, none of the injuries suffered turned out to be life threatening.
The driver of the truck was ticketed for following too closely as well as for speed unreasonable and imprudent. The accident occurred close to Kneer’s Used Auto Parts.
Center Brunswick Fire and the Sheriff’s Department were assisted at the scene by the NY State Police, Pittstown and Brunswick No.1 Fire Departments, Mohawk and Pittstown Ambulances.
Brunswick No. 1 also set up the landing zone at the Brunswick Community Center parking lot on Keyes Lane.
