Along with over 100 students from the Capital Region, the Honors 10 class took part in the History Day competition at the State Museum in Albany on Saturday, March 24. Working in groups, the students researched different aspects of local history examining the theme “Triumph and Tragedy.”

All the Tamarac teams received medal recognition, and 3 of the 4 groups will be moving on to the state competition in Cooperstown, NY on April 29.

“Charles Nalle: A Triumphant Rescue from the Tragedy of Slavery”
