Farewell Miss Angela
By Doug La Rocque
For the last six years, Angela Kanser has been sort of an institution at the Grafton Community Library. Her smiling face and charming mannerisms behind the checkout desk will be missed. She worked with young children in some very special reading and activity groups, and was always ready to help out whenever she could.

On Saturday, April 27, the Grafton Community Library said farewell to Miss Angela with a cake and small going away party, although she is not going that far away. Angela has accepted the job as Director’s Assistant at the Brunswick Community Library, a step toward perhaps having her own library to run someday in the not too distant future.
Angela told The Eastwick Press she will most certainly miss her time at Grafton, but hopes all her friends will stop by and see her in Brunswick. After all, this is certainly a case of Grafton’s loss being Brunswick’s gain.
