Opening Ceremonies will take place at the Cambridge Central School. Other Friday evening activities will be taking place on Main Street, right in the middle of the village with a Block Party, a Candlestick Glow (on Broad Street) and Fireworks to close the evening. Enjoy the Block Party and Pilot’s Welcome Dinner, then, pick up a commemorative mug, sponsored by Argyle Brewing.
The Balloon Launches will be lift off at approximately 7 pm on Friday and Saturday evening, and for you early risers, be at the Cambridge Central School at 5:30 am to watch the spectacular morning launches on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday is a full day beginning with the balloon launches at 5:30 am. After a hearty breakfast get ready to shop the craft and vendor sales at the Presbyterian Church, tag sales and of course shop at the local stores who rely on you for support. The Lion’s Club will have a classic car show at St. Patrick’s Church, and the Cambridge Valley Flying Club is having a Fly-in at the airport on Plains Road north of the village.
Towards the end of the day there will be balloon launches around 7 pm, the Taste of Cambridge food festival and as dusk falls, hang around for the Moonglow, located on the Mansion at South Union park, on South Union Street behind Cambridge Village Market.
Sunday starts out early again with balloon launches at 5:30 am, and a Pilot’s Breakfast located at the American Legion. Visit our Farmers Market and look for other exciting things happening around town.
Hot Air Balloon launches rely on clear weather and calm winds, so all the balloon launches are weather dependent. All launches take place at Cambridge Central School.
