Domestic Violence Arrests

Hoosick Falls Police responded to a reported Domestic incident on Madison Street in the Village of Hoosick Falls Thursday night May 30 around 11 pm. Upon arrival they located a female subject bleeding from the face.  After investigation, it was determined that the female was in an altercation with a male subject who struck her in the face causing a laceration to the right eye.  She was transported to Bennington Hospital by ambulance.  The male, Michale McGuire, age 24 of 5 Madison Street in Hoosick Falls, was arrested at the scene and charged with Felony Assault 2nd.  He was arraigned in Village Court and remanded to probation.    

On Friday May 31, about 4 pm, Hoosick Falls Police responded to a Domestic call on Water Street in the Village. Upon arrival, they located a male subject that had been assaulted.  After investigation it was determined that Wendy Morse, age 30, of 37 Mechanic Street in Hoosick Falls, struck the male in the lip causing a laceration. She was arrested for Assault 3rd and remanded to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash.
