Visiting The Senator At The State Capitol

36 Fourth Grade students from the Walter B. Howard Elementary School in New Lebanon were recently special guests of State Senator Daphne Jordan.

Senator Jordan recognized the students for a formal introduction from the Senate Floor during a Senate Session. The students are shown waving back to the Senators from the Visitor’s Gallery. Photo provided.

The students, along with their teacher and chaperones, received a guided tour of the State Capitol from Senator Jordan’s staff members that featured stops at the Flag Room, Senate Visitor’s Gallery and the Million Dollar Staircase.
