Joyes Earns The Rank Of Eagle Scout

Andrew Joyes is Troop 222’s 10th Scout to reach the rank of Eagle. Andrew is the son of Daniel and Tanya Joyes of Stephentown and has been a member of Troop 222 since 2014. Andrew has completed an Eagle service project renovating the Veterans Memorial on Route 43 in Stephentown. Andrew put together a team that put in over 150 hours of work repairing the memorial.

Currently Andrew holds the senior leadership position in Troop 222 as the Senior Patrol Leader. The Eagle award will be conveyed in a special Eagle Court of Honor in the near future. Andrew currently is a sophomore at Berlin High School and is active in school plays, choir, sports and Venturing Crew 222. 

Andrew also earned two additional awards, the Bronze Palm and the Gold Palm. These are awarded to Eagle Scouts who stay involved in their troop along with earning five additional merit badges for each Palm.
