Summer Concert Series
There is usually a sweet sound on the evening air Tuesdays in Brunswick, as the Summer Concert Series is in full swing. This year’s lineup of bands features everything from Oldies, to Country, to Rockabilly, a Beatles tribute and some good ole fashioned party music.
The season started off with just such a well known “home fueled” party band, “The Refrigerators.”
The concerts are held every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Brunswick Community Center on Keyes Lane. Up next on Tuesday, August 6 is “The Tichy Boys,” known for its blend of Rockabilly and Country music. They will be followed on successive Tuesdays by “Get Up Jack,” and Irish Folk Band “Whiskey Highway” (Country) and “The Oldies Show,” with music from the 50s and 60s. There is no charge to attend the events.
