A call for a structure fire on Cobble Hill Road sent the North Hoosick Fire Department trucks up the 1½ lane dirt road at 4 am Monday morning.
With no access to water, Hoosick Falls and Hoosick Fire Department trucks also responded to the scene. The fire was quickly brought under control, but the deserted steel barn had materials stored inside which continued to flare up. Firefighters were on the scene until 7 am.
