Assault Arrest
The Hoosick Falls Police Department has arrested 37-year old William Harris of 89 Main Street, Hoosick Falls after officers responded to a reported assault on Lyman Street. Harris stands accused of assaulting two male subjects causing serious injuries to both. Both victims were transported to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington for treatment.
Harris was located at his residence and taken into custody without incident. He was arraigned in front of Honorable Harold McClellan and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
