Supervisor Will Not Seek Re-electon
Town Supervisor Alan Webster has decided he will not seek another term in office, at least not as Town Supervisor. Mr. Webster is instead seeking the Town Board seat being vacated by Dennis Smith. Councilman Smith is not seeking re-election to his board seat, because he instead has been named by the town’s Democratic Party as its candidate for Town Supervisor.
The Petersburgh Republican Party is calling upon former Town Supervisor Siegfried (Ziggy) Krahforst to once again throw his hat in the ring as its standard bearer for the Supervisor’s position.
Speaking with The Eastwick Press, Mr. Webster says his time in office was an honor, and he is thankful for all the support he has received. He is not running for the job, because he feels it’s times for someone else to lead the charge, so to speak.
