Rensselaer County Sheriff Pat Russo was recently presented with a Certificate of Recognition from the Department of Defense. The certificate was presented to the Sheriff by Emil Baker, Director of Military Outreach New York State, and recognized the Sheriff as a patriotic employer.
Sheriff Russo was nominated by Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Officer Sergeant W. Scott Roy, who is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, because of the Sheriff’s longstanding support of those currently serving and military veterans within the community and the Sheriff’s Office.
Mr. Baker is the owner of the Big Moose Deli and Country Store in Hoosick.
