Berlin’s Schmich Gets Win # 281

Boys

Monday’s win was #281 for Berlin-New Lebanon Coach Art Schmich, making him the winningest coach in Berlin soccer history. Schmich passes Paul Mueller’s 280 and is now 14th all time in Section 2.

Monday, Sept. 23. Matt Hart scored a goal and had 3 assists to lead BNL to a win over Heatly. Dan Hunt and Wyatt Powers each added two goals. Logan Bartlo, Winter Exley, Kasey Billert, Anthony Prather, Malek Plouffe, Connor Votra and Shawn Pawlos each scored one goal. Kevin Chittenden got the shutout with 6 saves in goal.

Saturday, Sept. 21. Played at Afrim’s Sports Complex. Conner Jones and Evan Webster each scored a goal but the team couldn’t keep pace with Mekeel Christian. Easton Cahill had one save for the Panthers and Lian Martuscello had five for Mekeel.

Saturday, Sept. 21. At Afrim’s Sports Complex. Parker Robinson had five saves for Cambridge as the Indians fell to the Witches.

Thursday, Sept. 19. Seven goals were scored in the first half of this game, unfortunately only two of them were by Bengals players. Bengal Sophie Champagne scored both goals with Shannon Ryan assisting on both of them. Emma Willard’s Catherine Everett scored four of her teams goals with Ava Turner adding the fifth.
