You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown

Come out to see this wonderful family show that brings the comic strip “Peanuts” to life.

 It’s now playing at the Heart Theater in Berlin on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 at 6 pm. 

 

You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown will be at The Heart Theater located at 27 North Main Street in Berlin, on October 4 and 5 at 6 pm. Photo provided.

The musical is directed by Karen Webster and the wonderful “Peanuts” gang is all there to delight you: Charlie Brown (Rick Bly), Lucy Van Pelt (Karen Roberts), Linus Van Pelt (Andrew Hanerfeld), Schroeder (Benedikt Krahforst), Sally Brown (Rebecca Galusha) and Snoopy (Kendra Roberts).

Director Karen Webster says the audience is in for a treat: “It is an endearing musical that touches the Charlie Brown in all of us.”

No admission charge (limited seating to the first 90 in attendance), donations welcome. Performances are sponsored by the The Advocare Foundation, Ltd. whose mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with special needs through inspiration, funding and services. The show is based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz. Book and Lyrics by Clark Gesner, additional dialogue by Michael Mayer. Additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. Original direction for this version of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown by Michael Mayer. Originally produced in New York by Arthur Whitelaw and Gene Persson.
