Hoosick Falls 0 6 6 0 12
Cambridge-Salem 20 14 14 7 55
Saturday, Sept. 28. The Cambridge Indians had it all clicking on this afternoon. In all aspects of the game the Indians dominated the Hoosick Falls Panthers. With four minutes gone in the game the Indians held a 14-0 lead and never looked back. The Indians ran for 476 yards to the Panthers 180. Max Kipp, a running back in this game after being the starting quarterback, gained 164 yards on the ground.

Freshman Jake Sparks struggled in his debut as starting quarterback, throwing five interceptions, as much a testament to the athletic ability of the Indian defenders as anything else.
Next Saturday afternoon (1 pm) the Cambridge-Salem Indians will host Holy Trinity, last year’s Class C state champions and currently cruising through its schedule as a Class B team (state rank #7 – Sept. 22 poll). C-S defeated Holy Trinity last season and many of the players from HT are playing this season.
