Friday, Oct. 4. Lake George / Hadley-Luzerne got out to a lead in the first quarter that the Panthers struggled for the rest of the game to overcome. Hoosick Falls could only come up with 129 total yards as the LG/HL War Eagles shut down the running game and the Panthers had trouble getting the passing game off the ground.

Saturday, Oct. 5. Cambridge just couldn’t keep pace on this afternoon. An excellent Holy Trinity, last year’s Class C state champion with many of its players returned, grabbed a 21-7 halftime lead and continued to extend that lead through the third quarter.  Holy Trinity quarterback Joe Tortello threw for 342 yards, completing 14 of 17 passes. Cambridge had 412 rushing yards, with Calvin Schneider getting 152 of them. The total combined yards for both teams was 918.

Saturday, October 12. Cambridge – _Salem at Whitehall, Stillwater at Warrensburg; Watervliet at Voorheesville; Helderberg Valley at Cohoes.
