Village Police Make A Pair Of Arrests

A 47-year old village resident is back in trouble with the law once again, and once again it involves drug possession charges.  Back on September 17, Jamie Dunnells of Dolan Avenue was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired by Drugs, as well as Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th.

On Tuesday, October 8, Dunnells was once again arrested by village police after a traffic stop on River Road.  A file check showed that he is wanted by Bennington Police for Burglary and Drug charges.  After a search of his vehicle Hoosick Falls Police charged him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

He was arraigned in front of Honorable Judge Thomas Restino and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail to await extradition to Vermont.  

Sex Offender Charged

Hoosick Falls Police also arrested Richard Reynolds, age 62, of Elm Street in the village and charged him with Violating Sex Offender Registry.

Reynolds failed to check in with the Hoosick Falls Police Department as required by law.  He was arraigned in front of Honorable Judge Thomas Restino and remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
