Well over 500 hot dogs, cheeseburgers and pieces of pizza were handed out on Saturday in front of the Immaculate Conception Church in Hoosick Falls. On what was a very comfortable evening to be outside, friends and neighbors gathered to visit and listen to the music of West Side Drive, a band featuring local singer Krissy Fauler. People danced in the street, sat on the knoll in front of the Babtist Church, or just walked around to socialize.

Block Party host Father Tom Zelker joined a large circle of dancers to do the Hokey Pokey after introducing folks who have been involved in keeping the church front and center in the minds of people who had the fate of the church in their decisions, and the rebirth of the church building. It was an enjoyable and pleasant evening for everyone who attended. Photo by Steve Bradley.
