Harvest Festival A Success
It was the first time the Petersburgh Public Library and Starry Ridge Farm combined to put on a festival in the style of a farmer’s market. Visitors to the Saturday, October 5 event enjoyed live music all day, fresh pressed cider and a variety of family friendly activities. The event was held outdoors in front of the library, with Mother Nature dressed in her finest colors, highlighted by an afternoon of sunshine.

As the Festival was closing down at the end of the day, Library Director Anita Wilson said, “Many thanks to the numerous people and organizations involved in helping to make the first Petersburgh Harvest Festival a success! It was a glorious day for everyone to enjoy. The activity was plentiful and the attendance was great. We had lovely pieces of work for our art auction in the library and are very grateful to the local artists who contributed their work for this fund-raising event. We appreciate all the support!”
