Berlin Middle School

John Gray Visits

Berlin Central School District was lucky to have John Gray, local news anchor and author, come for another visit on October 30. Mr. Gray read his book Keller’s Heart, to the Middle School and shared stories of his inspiring dog Keller. He answered student questions about being an author and the process of drafting a story.

Students were interested in asking about his news anchor career and his other dogs as well.  Gray shared a bit about his next book project with the students and said he would love to come back to Berlin when it is published.

“It took nearly 50 years for me to be the author I dreamt about being when I was 7 years old, but with hard work and perseverance it came true.” concluded Mr. Gray who encouraged students not to be afraid of their dreams.
