River Road Home Burns
A River Road home in Eagle Bridge was severely damaged and much of its content destroyed on Friday when fire rapidly went the length of the front of the home. Several days later the cause of the mid-afternoon blaze remains to be determined. No one was injured.
Several fire departments responded to the scene, including Buskirk, Cambridge, Hoosick, Shushan, Johnsonville and others. The NY State Policie and Town of Hoosick Rescue also were on scene.
