Preparing For A Walk On The Wild Side

A pair of area youngsters, decked out in their Halloween finest, are preparing to discover some of the wild and wonderful friends along the Grafton Lakes State Park’s annual Trick or Treat Nature Trail, on Saturday, October 26.

Making your own Trick or Treat bags with owl designs for collections along the way on the Nature Trail. Meeting all the forest animals is never a trick, and the children come away loaded with treats. Photo by Amy Modesti.

 

The walk along the jack-o-lantern lighted trail from the Welcome Center took youngsters through the forest, stopping at many stations to learn about nature from park personnel dressed up as woodland creatures.
