A Changing Of The Guard
October 31 was former Grafton Highway Superintendent Herb Hasbrouck’s last day on the job, having resigned with two months left in his four-year term, and concluding 38 years of service to the town. On Thursday, November 7, the Grafton Town Board met in special session to formally appoint Jarod Bouchard as his replacement until the end of the year.

Superintendent Bouchard will begin his own four-year term on January 1, having won the seat in last week’s general election. And by the way, the next day it snowed. Welcome to the life of a Highway Superintendent.
