Kids Halloween Party

Submitted by Heinz Noeding

On Saturday October 26, the Petersburgh Parks and Recreation Committee held its 2nd Annual Kids Halloween Party.  About 30 area children, along with their accompanying parents and grandparents, participated in various activities including the Halloween Costume Parade, Halloween bingo, pumpkin and sugar cookie painting and decoration, assorted crafts, ghost bowling, pumpkin pong, and cutting the Halloween cake.

Many parents commented that this event was very much like the Town used to host years ago and were so excited to see such events come back and be enjoyed by so many across our community.  Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped organize and host the party.  Just a quick reminder – our annual Children’s Christmas Party is fast approaching for Saturday December 21.
