Rollover Traps Woman In Car On Route 2
By Doug La Rocque
New York State Police say a Cohoes woman lost control of her vehicle while traveling eastbound on NYS Route 2 Saturday morning, November 9, going off the road into a ditch and rolling over. The car came to rest back in the roadway on its roof. It took some time for Petersburgh firefighters, with the help of the Grafton Fire Department, to extricate her from the vehicle.

She was transported to the Albany Medical Center by the Petersburgh Ambulance with what were described as non-life threatening injuries. A State Police spokeswoman said the cause of the accident appears to be a patch of black ice.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by members of the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department. The Mohawk Ambulance Service was also called.
