Barbara Griswold

Edgewater, FL- Barbara (Wagner) Griswold, age 94, passed away on November 28, 2019. She was born on October 11, 1923 at home in West Stephentown (The Alps). She was the daughter of the late Arthur (Barbara Engwer) Wagner. She leaves behind her loving husband of 75 years Edward C. Griswold. Both were formerly from Stephentown, NY.

Surviving children include Elaine (Richard) Leffler of Edgewater, Fl, Douglas E (Sandra) Griswold of Stephentown, NY, Robert S. (Leah Joyce) Griswold of Petersburgh, NY. Barbara is pre-deceased by her four sisters. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She loved going to bingo and putting together puzzles. 

She owned and worked at Valley View Motel, which included a snack bar and gas station. She also worked at Montgomery Ward in Menands, NY, GE in Pittsfield, MA, and making wreaths and grave blankets in their basement.

No services will be held at this time.
