Berlin Bowlers Have An Impressive First Match

The newly formed Berlin Bowling team rolled onto the lanes in Hoosick Falls for its first match on November 20. According to head coach Mikaela Marbot and assistant coach Paul Slaver, everyone looked impressive despite a lack of competitive experience.
Jordanne Brazie led the team with a 366 series, that’s 122 average! She also scored her personal best, a 165 in game 3. The Hunt brothers were close behind, with Cody scoring 357 and Danny scoring 355. Cody had a high game of 136 and Danny had a high of 146. Other notable scores were Rhiannon Dawes with a 126 and Sierra Pettibone with a 122

Tuesday, December 3. The Hoosick Falls bowling team returned to action following the Thanksgiving break with a win over Stillwater on the road. The Panthers finished with 3641 pins to Stillwater’s 3159. The win brings Hoosick Falls’ point record to 15-0 for the season.
Senior co-captains Owynn Arnold 229-670 and Evan Webster 237-668 led the way for Hoosick Falls while Zach Golden 267-597 led Stillwater. Other top scores for Stillwater included Connor Julian 223-573, Kody Brundage 199-563, Cody Julian 200-556, Devin Dickson 197, Aden Wickham 180 and Alan Conklin 165.
Other top scores for Hoosick Falls included Erin McCart 237-646, Colin King 235-627, Brody Mullen 240-589, Payton Merrills 211-567, Ziena Hurlburt 201-549, Ryan Maxon 194 and Bradley Senecal 163.
They now have the rest of the week to prepare for three matches next week: Berlin at the Barbecue Recreation on Tuesday, December 10; Waterford at the Barbecue Recreation on Wednesday, December 11; and Hoosic Valley at Hilltop Bowl on Thursday, December 12..
