Tuesday, January 28. Both of these teams came into the evening undefeated in league play. Hoosick Falls jumped out to a big lead and although Stillwater cut it down at times during the game, it wasn’t enough. With Hoosick Falls holding a 20 point lead going into the fourth, Stillwater scored 28 points in the fourth to give the Panthers a scare but they held on to get the win.

Stillwater’s Issic Cutler came from out of nowhere to keep Jon Kempf (5) from scoring an easy layup in first half action Tuesday evening. Kempf went on to score 24 points for the night. Photo by Steve Bradley.

Jon Kempf scored 24 points, Max Kipp had a nice  night with 17 and Tristan Williams added 14. Josh Luca had 31 for the Warriors.

Hoosic Valley 13 14 15 16 58

Tuesday, January 28. This game stayed close from the beginning with the Tamarac Bengals maintaining a slim lead through the game that they kept until the end. Zachary Rice had 18 points, Dalton Maxon had 13 and Rocco DiCarlo had 10 for Tamarac. CJ Bassett scored 33 points for Hoosic Valley.

Tuesday, January 28. Single digit scoring in the second quarter cost the Cambridge Indians the lead and put them in a deficit they struggled to make up for the rest of the game. Nick Murphy had 20 points and Brian Hall added 16 for Cambridge.

Greenwich 33 18 27 6 84

Tuesday, January 28. Greenwich grabbed a big first quarter lead and cruised to a win at home.

Friday, January 24. Jon Kempf had 36 points, Tristan Williams added 28 and Dmitri Rose chipped in 10 in a game the Panthers blew open in the third quarter. Hoosick Falls took a close 42-34 lead at the half  and turned it into a 61-40 lead at  the end of third.

Friday, January 24. Getting outscored by 15 in the second quarter put the Bengals in a hole they could not dig out of. Bengals Mile Edney scored 16 points, Dalton Maxon added 14 and Joey Poulin chipped in 11.

Friday, January.24. The Hoosic Valley Indians struggled to score in this game, putting only 19 points on the board in the final three quarters.
