Berlin Student Sings Her Heart Out For 518gives

On January 26, Christina Reger, a senior at Berlin Central School and a resident of Grafton, was selected to perform live on Fox 23’s 60th Annual #518gives Fundraiser. It is the largest annual benefit and public awareness event for the Center for Disability Services.

Over $2.3 million was raised during the event. Congratulations Christina on sharing your beautiful voice for a great cause and making the Berlin Central School District and your community so proud. The event was held this year at the Colonie Center.

All County Music Festival

A number of Berlin Central School chorus members were selected to attend the Rensselaer County Schools Music Association’s All County Music Festival on January 18 in Lansingburgh. Berlin students Austin Meyette, Nikifor Popov, William Prather-Homan, Connor Sniger and Joseph Zwack performed in the Men’s All County Choir, while students Cole Jones, Jacob Maxon, Brianna Reger, Riley Smith and Daniel Williams performed in the All County Junior Choir. Berlin Middle-High School’s choral director, Ms. Leslie Eliashuk said, “It was a wonderful weekend and the choruses sounded excellent!”
