Two Hoosick Falls Men Arrested By Village Police
Hoosick Falls Police arrested 38-year old William Harris of 89 Main Street in Hoosick Falls on Sunday, January 5, after Officers responded to a reported domestic incident on Main Street in the Village. It is alleged that Harris took an ax and busted out the windshield of a vehicle that the female victim was sitting in.

Harris was charged with: Class E Felony of Criminal Mischief 3rd, Class D Felony Reckless Endangerment 1st and a Class A Misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th.
He was arraigned in front of Judge Harold McClellan in the Village of Hoosick Falls and an Order of Protection was issued. Based on the new bail reform law the subject was released on an appearance ticket to reappear on January 16.
On New Year’s Day the Village Police Department responded to a reported accident on Rogers Avenue about 1 am. Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year old male from Eagle Bridge. The subject’s vehicle had left the road and struck a retaining wall. The investigation at the scene determined the subject was considered intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the station for processing on charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Keep Right. He was released into the custody of his parents and ordered to re-appear in court on January 16.
