Saint-Gobain Employee Is Deployed

Major Mark Andrew Knoeller was honored by his fellow workers at a recent gathering at Saint-Gobain in Hoosick Falls.  Major Knoeller is part of the 42nd Infantry Division where he serves as a multi-functional logistics officer.

Saint-Gobain employees wear red every Friday to honor the country’s veterans. Because of Major Knoeller’s departure date, the weekly gathering was pushed up to a Wednesday, with special shirts ordered with his initials on them as a special way to honor their friend and co-worker. Major Knoeller is shown here, holding the sign. Photo courtesy of Brooke Sargood.

His division is being deployed to Camp Arifjan in Kuwait as part of the ongoing Operation Spartan Shield.

Waiting at home for him will be his wife and four children, plus 170 employees of Saint-Gobain. We at the Eastwick Press join them in wishing him good luck and a safe return.
