There’s A New Supervisor In Town
Following a year that saw former Supervisor Colleen Teal resign and move to Virginia, and the Town Board voicing different opinions on who should take over. It eventually settled on former Supervisor Meg Robertson.
Newly elected Supervisor Tistrya Houghtling was sworn in on New Year’s Day before a standing room only crowd at the New Lebanon Town Hall.
Ms. Houghtling told The Eastwick Press, “I am excited to serve as Town Supervisor, striving to make New Lebanon the best it can be! I will focus on bringing our community together to support our local businesses, provide opportunities to our young people, provide services to our seniors and ensure that all of our voices are represented and heard! Thank you for providing me with this opportunity to serve our community!”
