New Lebanon-Berlin Swimmers Fall to Taconic Hills

Both the Boys and Girls Swim teams were defeated in their match Monday, January 27 against Taconic Hills. Alex Sotek again recorded wins in two individual events, the 200 Medley and 100 Butterfly. Kiley Danforth won the 100 Backstroke event, while Abby Seyerlein came in first in the 100 Breaststroke race. The Girls also won the 400 Freestyle Relay, but as a team, fell short 42 to 39 to Taconic Hills.

Liam Buckenroth claimed both the 200 and 500 Freestyle races, with Winter Exley capturing the 50 Freestyle event. The Boys also won the 400 Freestyle relay, but fell to the Craryville (Columbia County) based Titans 45 -33.

The Monday meet was also Senior night, with Jordan Shupe, Amelia McDonald, Allison Ryder, Rose Denue and Daniel Truax recognized for their hard work and devotion to the team.
