Berlin High School

An Olympian Performance By Berlin Students

On Saturday February 8, Berlin Middle-High School competed in the Capital Region Science Olympiad at Hudson Valley Community College. Science Olympiad is an academic based design competition testing the knowledge of students in multiple areas of Science with both written and physical activities.

Our Berlin Central students were able to secure eleven medals in events including Anatomy And Physiology, Boomiliver, Elastic Glider, Fossils, Game On, Heredity, Mousetrap Car, Ornithology, Ping Pong Parachute, Reach For The Stars And Write It/Do It. Mrs. Hayes and Mr. Scannell are very proud of all of our students who worked for countless hours to prepare for the competition. We look forward to the growth of our students’ scientific knowledge in the years to come.
