Grafton Community Library New Director
In the end, the search for a new director took the Library’s Board of Trustees right back to one of their own, as Leanna Sweet was appointed to the post, according to a Tuesday, February 17 announcement.Leanna has been a library volunteer for 20 years and a Board of Trustee member for 15 years, having served as Co-President and President for the past 3 years. She has been the leader in securing the grants which have allowed recent construction and renovation projects.
Leanna is a longtime resident of Grafton and has served as a volunteer in many community organizations. She retired from the Federal government after 43 years of service, the last 15 years working as a Program Analyst in adult education at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. Please stop in the library to welcome new Director, Leanna Sweet.
