A Good Day To Be A Day
The Salem-Cambridge wrestling team competed in the Section 2 Class C/D championships this past week in Whitehall. Brothers Hunter and Evan Day brought home sectional crowns, as did Jacob Haynes. Charlie Dill and Doug Pennington captured second place spots in the competition. The only other time two brothers have captured sectional championships at the same time for Salem-Cambridge, was 2005 when Justin (Hunt) Farrara and Alex Farrara earned Class D titles.
In all, seven S-C wrestlers will compete this weekend at the State qualifiers.
