Hoosick Falls Police And Tops Markets Join Hands To Help Community

March 28, 2020 By steve bradley

The Hoosick Falls Police Department, along with Tops Market, have joined together to assist our elderly residents as well as citizens who have serious chronic medical conditions like Heart Disease, Diabetes and Lung disease and who are at a higher risk of getting sick from COVID-19.

Working with volunteers from the Hoosick Helpers, residents from the Village and Town that are most affected and afraid to leave their homes will be able to call Tops Market and place an order for essentials, like milk, bread and other staples.  Securely the residents can give their credit card information. Tops will process and bag the groceries which will be ready for pick-up and delivered by the Hoosick Falls Police Department or Hoosick Helpers.

Deliveries will be on Monday and Friday only and residents that are in need of this program are asked to call Tops 518-686-5649 to place their order and then to contact the Hoosick Falls Police Department at 518-686-7900 for pick up arrangements.

Hoosick Falls Police, along with Tops understand that our residents who are most affected and afraid to leave their homes can now be assured that their community is here to assist.  Both the Village and Town governments have come together to endorse this undertaking and will continue to provide any assistance to our residents.
