Veterans Banners Program Marches On
Petersburgh’s Veterans’ Banner program is progressing nicely. Our two WWII veterans who were killed in action, Preston Smith and Herman Barnhart, have been identified and their banners have been ordered. The 2016 book “Remembrances of the Old Families of Petersburgh” will be on sale at the town clerk office (when it re-opens) for $5 with the proceeds going toward the banners. Additional donations would be greatly appreciated.
