Nesting Now
The American Robin (Turdus migratorius) is known for its orange breast and, for us Northerners, as a sign of Spring. The birds spend their winters in warmer weather and then migrate to start a family.

The robin is one of the earliest bird species to lay its eggs, so you should be seeing them now gather materials for making their nests. The robin’s nest is made of grass, twigs, paper, feathers and is patched with mud.
Despite our best efforts, we were unable to confirm that this is indeed the robin that was a rockin and a bobbin and singin his song.
