The Library Is Still Here for You
Submitted by the Stephentown Memorial Library
The Stephentown Library building will be closed at least until the NYS PAUSE Act has been lifted and it is deemed safe to return to normal life. Even though the library is closed, we want you to know that SML is still working hard to bring you access to books, magazines, video, and programs and we are constantly adding to our list.
Not only do patrons have access to Overdrive/Libby (audiobooks, eBooks, Magazines, and video), you also have access to Ancestry.com Library Edition, Flipster (magazines), TumbleBooks for kids, TeenBook Cloud, AudioBook Cloud, and Romance Book Cloud all through TumbleBooks. TumbleBooks gives instant access to all of its material with no wait time! The Upper Hudson Library System is also in the process of setting up Hoopla for all of our patrons. Hoopla gives instant access to books, audiobooks, movies, music and more. Visit www.stephentownlibrary.org for links to all of these resources.
Another great resource is our Facebook page and website. On the website we will be posting new virtual programming such as Coffee Club, Story Time, a Writers Group, and more. We will be offering these meetups/programs through Zoom and we hope you will join us. On Facebook, there will be different activities for adults and kids to do while quarantined. Complete the activities and win prizes when we are back up and running.
So we hope you will stay tuned for updates on all that SML has to offer. We also hope that everyone is healthy and safe and that we will see you all soon. Feel free to email Kim at director@stephentownlibrary.org anytime with any questions, comments, thoughts, or suggestions!
