Hoosick Falls Pays Tribute To Coach Ron Jones

May 9, 2020 By steve bradley

Cars snaked through the entire lot then out into the road. One hundred and twenty five cars (Thanks, Vicky W., for counting) participated in the impressive line-up. As the parade passed through the area hundreds of folks came out and filled lighted porches and sidewalks in a drizzle to show their feeling for Ron Jones. It was a very touching tribute when it’s difficult to have any type of tribute.

Lights at football fields all over the Capital Region and as far away as Boonville, NY were lit Friday evening from 7 to 9 to honor HFCS head coach Ron Jones. Assistant football coach Eamonn DeGraaf’s high school alma mater in Boonville lit its lights at the request of their former standout athelete.
