Grand Marshall Named For 4th Of July Parade

Each year the Berlin 4th of July Parade Committee selects a Grand Marshall for the event. This year, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee has chosen to honor Health Care Providers, who they say have made our national response to the pandemic so effective. The press release goes on to add “their sacrifices and commitment have always been present, but our recent challenges have illuminated and reminded all of us, how important they really are.”

Floats, Fire Companies, Bands, Autos, Horse groups and more make our parade the quintessential July 4th tradition. Come out and celebrate the 4th with your neighbors.

The schedule will be the same as years past – 9:30 am sign-in/registration at the Berlin Elementary School, 10 am judging with the parade stepping off at 11 am.

Make a float, volunteer, come watch America at her best.

Your donations are appreciated and allow this tradition to continue. Mail to the Berlin Parade Committee, PO Box 66 Berlin NY 12022.
