United We Stand
On Friday, June 19, a group of twenty plus people from First United Presbyterian, St. Mark’s Episcopal and Immaculate Conception Catholic Churches met on the corner of Elm and Main Streets in Hoosick Falls. They were gathered in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. They held posters, sang songs and heard prayers. Reverends Donna Elia, Paul Baker and Tom Zelker shared their thoughts as well.

Some of them are seen here with their signs. June 19, 1865 was the day the last slaves were freed. June 19 is also the Feast of the Sacred Heart.
