Graduation 2020

July 10, 2020 By steve bradley

It’s Just Not The Same

Perhaps the understatement of the year is that COVID-19 turned education upside down. For so many years The Eastwick Press has produced a special high school graduation section, complete with messages of support from area businesses. This year, because of the staggered times of the graduation ceremonies (Tamarac is scheduled for July 10) and because of the various ways in which each school district decided to tailor its ceremonies for what best fit their communities and their students desires, such a special section was impossible to produce on a timely basis.

Berlin Central School 2020 graduates.

Hopefully, as a nation and as a world we will have the COVID-19 pandemic under control, and schools can return to a bit of normalcy, so we can once again produce what has been a tradition in this area.

Congratulations to the Class of 2020. You are indeed, Eastern Rensselaer County Strong.
