Trailers Slide Off Road, Closes Portions of Route 7
A trailer carrying several trailers separated from its tow vehicle on Thursday morning, July 23, just east of the Man of Kent and hit a power pole, tipping the pole. The vehicle, traveling eastbound, was halfway around the corner when the trailer “jackknifed” according to the driver. The trailers, two or three stacked on top of the bottom trailer, hit the guardrails and rolled on the bank.
The driver was uninjured and the tow vehicle was undamaged. The Hoosick Fire Department responded to the scene along with the NYS Police.
