Village Resident Charged With Assault

Hoosick Falls Police arrested 49 – year old Glenn Manning of 2 Beckett Street Hoosick Falls, on Wednesday night, July 1, after officers responded to a disturbance call on Beckett Street. It was reported that a women was screaming for help after she was physically pushed out of her house. 

Upon arrival of patrols, Officers located a 40 year old women on a front porch with facial wounds. Manning had locked the door to the residence and at first refused to open the door.  After a few minutes the subject came out and was placed under arrest.

He was charged with Felony Assault 2nd and Misdemeanor Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.

The female subject was treated at the scene by EMS and later transported to the hospital by relatives. 

Manning was arraigned in Village Court in front of Judge Harold McClellan and remanded to the County Jail.
