Out With The Old And In With The New

On Tuesday, July 21, the two old boilers that for many years were used to heat the Hoosick Falls Central School building were removed, to make room for two new ones. These old boilers have been problematic over the past few years, causing some chilly learning environments.

After workers removed the first of two boilers from the HFCS utilities room, work continued to unhook the cables to prepare for removal of the second boiler. Prior to the installation of the new boilers, two new water heaters (white containers to the right) need to be put in place. John Mullins Rigging and Hauling provided the crane for the removal.
