Frank Mulvihill Picks Up Eagle On Hole #6
Dewstomper Golf Notes
Every Wednesday morning a group of guys, anywhere from 15-25 gather to play in the “dew.” With an approximate 8:00 start, there is a wide range of golfing abilities that show up. Using the a modified stableford system, 1 point for bogey, 2 points for a par, and 4 points for an eagle, and a handicap based on how you play, the pace of play is brisk. Two hours is the anticipated pace of play. Bogey is the worst score you can take, so play keeps moving. All prizes paid out that day. Results from August 5 (18 players): 1st place tie Dale Dearstyne, Bob Brown, Del Wysocki plus 2. No closest to the pin winner. Results from August 12 (20 players in the fog): 1st place Rick Harrington plus 6 (wow). 2nd place tie Nick Pallo, Ron Felt, Peter Martin III plus 5. Pete had 3 birdies. Closest to the Pin on hole 3: Kevin Weeden 23ft 11in. Come on over and join the fun. 25 players would be great. Done by 10 am.

Sorry to all the fans for missing last week. I was on vacation in Lake George. Forge a path no one can follow. If you work so hard, you can not be replaced. And like Tim McGraw sings, “Always be humble and kind.” Have a safe week. 3 more weeks of summer!!
